Topic: Pavement Enhancement with High Performance Geogrids

Abstract: Tensar has been using high-performing multi-axial geogrids to better confine aggregate base material and increase resilient modulus for purposes of enhancing both flexible and rigid pavement sections, saving asphalt and aggregate base course while improving performance life.  Results from numerous tests including box tests, Full Scale Accelerated Traffic Tests, Static Plate, and Automated Plate Load Testing (APLT) will be discussed which are the background for our stabilized pavement designs.
