About the Arizona Section of AEG
The Phoenix Chapter was approved by the Board of Directors in September, 2007. The Phoenix Chapter covers the greater-Phoenix area. The Phoenix Chapter tries to work with students from Arizona State University as well as with other geologic societies and associations. The primary areas of focus for Phoenix Chapter includes mining and geotechnical engineering, engineering and environmental geology as well as hydrogeology, seismology and earthquake engineering.
